Skating Elk Hair Caddis - Brown Foam Body. Very good floating caddis / sedge dry fly pattern fished as a single fly or in duo setup. Combination of genetic rooster hackle and elk hair wing makes it float perfectly. This dry fly sits higher on the water surface and therefore is great to fish in riffles, rough waters, etc.

This is a great fly for duo fishing on the Euro rig. I trim the underneath of the fly and give it a little covering of silicone mucilin. Cast the it upstream a couple of rod lengths and keep the line tight through the run. Be prepared for some really quick and aggressive takes. Size 12 is my recommended preferred size with a 2.8 or 3mm nymph on the point.
